ASC Bookings go live on Monday 7 July at 7pm
New and existing families will be able to make bookings for our ASC starting in September on Monday from 7pm. Click here for details. If you already attend ASC, continue to make your bookings as you have done over the year.
Kindness Ambassador Meeting
We had our final Kindness Ambassador meeting with other schools where we celebrated all our acts of kindness. Since we started the Kindness Ambassadors have set up kindness jars, kindness quote of the week, kindness stickers at breaks for acts of kindness and supporting local charities. We gave a special mention to Clay during the meeting, as he had raised over £200 for The Hospice of St Francis in sponsorship for the Bubble Rush. With all their hard work to promote kindness, Victoria School is now an accredited School of Kindness.
ASC survey
Thank you for families that have completed the ASC survey so far. It has been useful to get your feedback and if you have not had chance to complete the survey, click here. Once the survey closes next week, I will be looking at all the comments and feeding back actions from your views.
Miss Mitchell leaving
We were sad to say goodbye to Miss Mitchell who has been doing our Collective Worship on a Monday and running Reflection Club. We thanked her during worship for all the fun and engaging activities she brings to our worship. Miss Mitchell is off back home to start new adventures after being at Berkhamsted School for 2 years.
Arthur and Ada (Thomas Coram) Cake Sale for St Francis Hospice- Thank you from Mr Mason
Many thanks for all your support with our bake sale at Victoria on Friday. We managed to raise £470 for the hospice, which is so brilliant. We're hoping we can make it up to £1000 with the TC sale today!
Sports Day- by Annabelle and Evie
Sports Day was so fun. We did hurdles on a fake horse. We didn’t do a running race, instead the parents did it, but they were so fast we found it hard to see the winner. We did do football skills. My favourite was the hurdles (Evie), and my favourite was the rugby (Annabelle).
VSA BBQ
Come and celebrate the end of the school year on a sunny evening at Victoria at our annual BBQ! Mr Banana Head is coming to entertain the kids, we have an amazing live band, and most importantly, a fully stocked bar! Please book via the PTA site by Wednesday 9 July, there will be no tickets on the door. See you there! Love, The VSA x
Our final Messy Church before the summer holidays is this Saturday (5th July) from 3.30-5.30pm in the vicarage garden. We'll have lots of fun activities, followed by a celebration time and then a picnic! Bring your picnic blanket and sandwiches, we'll provide hot & cold drinks. Everyone is welcome, email sarah@sunnysidechurch.org.uk to let know you’re coming or sign up through the church website (www.sunnysidechurch.org.uk).
