ASC Bookings
Thank you to everyone who has booked their places at ASC for the Autumn term. If you still need to book, book through Arbor booking into the correct club. Club names for each age range are:
Nursery- go to Chrysalis Club
Reception- go to Caterpillars Club
KS1 (YR1/YR2)- go to Butterflies Club
If you could make your booking by Wednesday 16 July, that will help us to plan staffing for each day. The bookings will remain open after that date but ideally if they can all be made by Wednesday that would be very helpful.
Year 2 Leavers Church Service Thursday 17 July at 2.00pm
We are looking forward to holding our annual Leavers service for our Year 2 pupils. All families are welcome to come along. The children will be sharing readings, memories, songs and prayers as well as receiving their Prayer Book for our Chair of Governors. After the service children will return to school to get their belongings and will be dismissed at the usual time. You are welcome to wait in the back playground after the service.
Blessing of the Backpacks- Message from Father Stuart
On Sunday 7th September as part of our regular 9.30am Sunday Service we'll be inviting the school children of the parish to come forward to have their school backpacks/satchels blessed to mark the start of the new school year. All are very welcome to join us. The service will be followed by refreshments (probably cake!) and games.
Cuppa and Connect- Tuesday 15 July from 8.45-10.15 in the school library
Annual reports are being sent out today via Arbor. If you have any problems accessing or receiving the reports, please contact admin.
Children in Reception and Year 1 will also be given a paper copy in their book bag of their Early Learning Goals or Phonic Screening Check. For Reception, this will show the assessment levels for the different areas of learning. The grades are either emerging (EMG) or expected (EXC).
Year 1 will have a paper copy of their Phonic Screening mark and score, with working towards (WT) and working at (WA). Children who are working towards or were absent will retake the check in June 2026.
