The School Council are made up of representatives from each class.

They meet regularly and help us to understand the concerns and needs of the children.  The children develop confidence and communication skills in this role. They have contributed to charity days, ideas for playground resources and suggestions for school lunches.

The School Council gets involved in a wide range of activities aimed at improving their experiences at school.

These included:

• Sharing ideas for the new library furniture and colours
• Making designs for improving the ramp area between Nursery and Reception
• Doing a Health and Safety Walk with the Head of School
• Suggesting activities for raising money for our school charity
• Reviewing our marking codes, looking at which were useful to them 

The School Council has meets a least twice a term and they have already made some great suggestions.
