Feeling Good Week

Next week we will be celebrating Feeling Good Week focusing on the theme This is My Place. All our activities are around a sense of belonging where the aim is to help children feel connected, valued, accepted and happy in the different communities they belong to.  We will be defining what it means to belong and how they can help others feel they belong too. We are ending our week in partnership with the VSA with a Come as Yourself (dress down) day.

Safer Internet Day

During Feeling Good Week, we are also taking part in Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 10 February.  The focus is smart tech, safe choices, where the children will be exploring the world of AI and how to use it safely and responsibly, especially around chat bots and pop ups. For more information click here for details of links to top tips to support you and your child online safety.

Mrs Jones Maternity Leave

We are wishing Mrs Jones all the best as she starts her maternity leave this week. She is looking forward to getting ready for the arrival of her baby boy at the end of February.

Oracy Homework Conversation StartersOracy | St. Aidan's Primary School – A Church of England Academy

This week the oracy task to discuss is:

If you could have any super power what would it be and why?

slider-image-0Staff Carpark-for staff only
Over the last week, there have been a few parents using the carpark for school drop off and/or pick up. This has at times prevented staff from being able to park and get to work.  To enable us to have the staffing needed for our school, it is important staff are able to get into our carpark and be where they need to be, on time to support the children.  Please do not park in the carpark during the hours of 8.00am to 3.30pm.
