Warm Welcome
Today we say a fond farewell to Miss Fitzpatrick. We would like to thank her for all of her hard work and dedication during her time at Victoria, and we wish her every happiness and success for the future.
We are also delighted to welcome Miss Megan Morris to the Victoria team. Miss Morris has joined us and will be supporting children in Beech Class. We are very pleased to have her with us and know she will be a wonderful addition to our school community.
Recycling Week 14 to 20 September
The theme for Recycle Week in 2026 is Rescue Me focusing on encouraging people to rescue recyclable items from the rubbish bin.
We would love our children and families to get involved! We are inviting everyone to send in photos of themselves recycling, reusing or upcycling materials at home. Whether you have created something new from old materials, repurposed an everyday item, or are helping to reduce waste through recycling, we would love to see your efforts. We will use the photos to create a special school display celebrating how our community is helping to care for God's world and make a positive difference to the environment. Please send your photos to the school office by Friday 25th September.
ASC Admin and Payments
We would like to let families know that this was Mrs Allen's last week at the Federation. We are very grateful for all her hard work and the care she has shown to our children, and we wish her every success. Mrs Allen is taking some time away to travel around Australia and is very excited about this big adventure. If you can continue to send any queries to the Extended Schools email and the office will help you, while we are in the process of recruiting.
We would also like to remind families that bookings for After School Club are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances. As staffing and resources are arranged based on bookings made, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations that do not meet our exceptional circumstances criteria.

I would like to invite Reception and YR1 parents to the phonic workshop on Tuesday 23 September at 9.15am. The workshop will talk about how we teach reading at Victoria and how you can support at home. As learning to read has changed so much since we were all at school, it is a really useful workshop to attend, especially when it comes to pronouncing the sounds correctly.

Quiz Night
Our first main event of the school year is our Back to School Quiz Night on Friday 16 October at 7.30pm. Expect a fun evening with a bar, snacks and plenty of cheerful competition. No need to book as part of a team: come solo and we’ll happily match you up on the night. Tickets are available online now.
We’ll be sharing details of other Autumn‑term events very soon - lots of good things in the pipeline.
