As a Church of England school, Religious Education (RE) is a core subject and we ensure the provision of high-quality teaching of the subject is a priority. To achieve this we have created an engaging curriculum which intends to inspire and ignite the children’s curiosity about the wider world and the major religions found within it. We aim to equip children with the knowledge and skills to ask questions, explore different religious beliefs, values and traditions in our multi-cultural society. Through collective worship and a high quality RE curriculum, we embed our school’s vision of flourishing in learning and love, underpinned by our core values: friendship, respect and perseverance.
