🌾 Harvest Festival 🌾

Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us for our Harvest Festival at St Peter’s Church on Monday 5 October at 10.30am.

We are delighted that our newly appointed Spiritual Ambassadors will be helping to lead the service through songs, readings and prayers as we come together to give thanks at harvest time.

We look forward to sharing this special celebration with our school community. Click here for information from our Kindness Ambassadors about Harvest donations for Hope Food Bank (via the school).

Class WhatsApp GroupsWhatsApp has more than two billion users now

The class WhatsApp groups are a great way to share reminders, build friendships and support one another as a school community. To help keep them positive and helpful for everyone, please remember to:

• Be kind and respectful.
• Keep messages relevant to class and school information.
• Avoid discussing individual children, families or staff.
• Contact the school directly with any concerns or questions.
• Think before posting, as messages can easily be misunderstood.

Thank you for helping to make our class groups a welcoming and supportive space for all families.

VSA Update
Quiz Night
Our Back to School Quiz Night is coming up fast. Join us on Friday 16 October for an evening of questions, laughs and light‑hearted rivalry. We’ll have a bar, snacks and plenty of fun. No team? No problem. Turn up solo and we’ll sort you out. Tickets are available online - go, go, go.
Design a Christmas Card
Christmas card design sheets should have landed in bookbags today. This year we’re sending the design sheets home (rather than doing them in school) so the children can take a little more time over their designs if they wish. If your child would like to create a design, just follow the instructions on the sheet and hand it back to their teacher by 3pm on 12 October. After that, you’ll receive details on how to order cards with their design if you’d like to.
Pumpkin Trail
Our Pumpkin Trail is back for half term. Follow the clues around town and collect a prize at the end - a perfect autumn adventure. Maps will be available to purchase online and from the school office very soon.
The Victoria
Look out for a VSA magazine, The Victoria, in bookbags soon. Inside you’ll find a round‑up of last year’s fundraising, a handy list of upcoming events and other information, including ways to get involved if you wish.
